I finally got to see Tokyo DisneySea for the first time! I had previously heard that it was aimed more at adults, but the atmosphere was pretty similar to the Disneyland park. The only obvious difference is that you are allowed to drink alcohol at DisneySea!

We went on a weekday (thank god), so the crowds weren’t bad at all. NEVER go on a weekend, and especially not on a holiday. I made that mistake last time I went to Disneyland, and the crowd was so bad I had to line up for 3-4 hours for each ride.

If you happen to end up at DisneySea on a super crowded day and only have time for a few rides, I would suggest that you start at Indiana Jones! I rode all the popular attractions, and Indiana Jones was definitely my favourite. It was quite a bit longer than the other rides, which made all the time spent lining up kind of worth it.

If you are vegan or vegetarian, there aren’t many available food options at the park, so make sure to bring your own snacks! One restaurant has a vegan pasta, but you can only eat there with a reservation. We tried to book a table, but they could only get us in 6 hours later so we gave up. However, if you’re looking for a yummy drink, the apple tea soda at New York Deli is quite good!

We stayed until the end of the day and got to catch the night performance on the water. It was definitely worth the wait. I would recommend staying for it!

As a huge Lion King fan, I was happy to see the Lion King songs performed, because there aren’t any Lion King-themed rides or merchandise in the park :disappointed:
