Nomihoudai, you say? Are you ready for a nomihoudown?

That’s a lotta sake!

The Deal: All-you-can-drink sake
The Price: ¥3,000

How many types of sake do you think one store can hold? 20? 30? Maybe even 40? Try 100. That’s right, KURAND SAKE MARKET offers 100 different types of sake. What’s even better is that it comes with an all you can drink deal that has no time limit. For 3,000 yen, you can have as much sake as you want for as long as you want, and if you leave within an hour, you get a 1,000 yen refund. (Insert cheesy infomercial “100% customer satisfaction guaranteed!” here.)

You’d better act fast though; there are limited spots available in each shop and making reservations ahead of time is recommended. You can do this through their website (if you book more than three days in advance), or by phone. If you make a reservation online, it even comes with a special gift!

Another fun feature KURAND SAKE MARKET offers is the stamps system. Regular customers can get a points card and collect stamps with each visit to rise through the ranks and earn different titles and special gifts.

Other than sake, KURAND also offers other food and drinks, and certain branches offer their own spin on things. The Shimbashi branch, for example, offers a selection of gourmet food, while the Shinjuku branch comes equipped with an exclusive draft sake server so you can enjoy freshly brewed sake whenever you please. If you’d like, you can also bring your own food to any branch.

KURAND is fairly widespread throughout Tokyo, with stores in Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno, Omiya, Funabashi, Shimbashi, and even one in Yokohama, so pop in anywhere, anytime and enjoy.

Bar IkoIko

The place where the Jäger never stops

The Deal: All you can drink Jägermeister
The Price: ¥500

If sake doesn’t cut it for you, maybe some Jägermeister will do. Enter Bar IkoIko in Sangenjaya, where you can drink Jäger to your heart’s content for only 500 yen. Want to stick around and drink until the wee hours of the morning? No problem. Bar IkoIko is open until 7:00am, so stay as long as you’d like.

Reservations can be made by phone. There are only 20 seats in the bar so calling ahead is definitely recommended. The small scale and sofa seats makes for a fairly intimate and friendly atmosphere. Throw some liquid courage in the mix, and this is definitely a place you can make some friends to spend a great night in Tokyo with.

There’s also no shortage of things to do apart from drink in Bar IkoIko, with facilities like a TV for sports and karaoke. Let’s face it: drunk karaoke is the best karaoke. Drunk karaoke with unlimited Jägermeister? Even better.

Don’t want to drink solely Jägermeister for the night? Don’t worry, other drinks are also provided at Bar IkoIko.

One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor

The Deal: All you can drink tequila

Maybe something like, say, tequila is a little more up your alley. If that’s the case, check out Bar A.GA.RO in Ebisu. Like with Bar IkoIko, you only have to pay 500 yen to drink as much tequila as you want. Bar A.GA.RO is open even later than Bar IkoIko, closing at 8:00am. Talk about a crazy night and morning.

You can make reservations for Bar A.GA.RO online; though beware that the English language option on the website really doesn’t make much sense. Reservations should be made at least a day in advance, and there is a 50 person maximum in the bar.

Apart from tequila, Bar A.GA.RO also offers a wide selection of delicious food and all sorts of other drinks. The bar has a TV and a small, friendly atmosphere. In the case of a special event, such as someone’s birthday, Bar A.GA.RO also stacks up a pretty impressive champagne tower.
