Japanese Twitter has been blowing up with a trending tag challenging users to describe their favorite games in a boring way. One of the top trends on May 9th was #好きなゲームをつまらなさそうに紹介する, and many Twitter users came up with some summaries that are just pure gold.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater

“Hide and Seek.”
Yeah, that’s pretty much it.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

“The main character is not Zelda.”
Well, with a little help from the modding community, she may be someday soon…

Final Fantasy V

“Trying various jobs and finding out unemployment is the strongest.”
If only real life could emulate video games.

Suikoden

“Collecting people.”
And suddenly the world of Suikoden opens itself up to Pokémon crossovers.

Earthbound

Some English-speaking users caught on to the hashtag as well.

Final Fantasy VIII

“A card game with an RPG skin.”
Triple Triad was easily the best part of the game.

Bloodborne

“I woke up from a bad dream and found myself in a bad dream.”
Are you cold? Oh, good hunter.

ICO

“I don’t want to live in a castle like this.”
You know what? Me neither.

Street Fighter V

“Advanced rock-paper-scissors.”
Maybe e-sports athletes can just set their controllers down and hash it out like real men. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!

Pokémon GO

“Helping an old man and walking around forever.”
There’s never really been a better incentive to help an old person.
